Urs Christian Eugster-Schnell is a seasoned executive with an 18-year tenure in the financial sector’s consulting and software industry. Founder of ‘E-S Expertise and Services GmbH’, Urs previously spearheaded strategic accounts for Temenos in Central and Eastern Europe, significantly boosting their market share. His career also spans leadership roles at Avaloq, Finastra, and Gruppe Thurau. Holding a master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen, Urs brings a track record of scaling software solutions and an inspiring leadership style to the board.
Alessio Figalli is a Professor in Mathematics at ETH Zurich, and the Director of the FIM (Institute for Mathematical Research) at ETH. After a joint Phd in Mathematics at SNS Pisa (Italy) and ENS Lyon (France) in 2007, he was a professor in France and the US, before moving to ETH Zurich in 2016. He works on several topics in mathematics, including Calculus of Variations, Optimal Transportation, and Partial Differential Equations. For his achievements, he was awarded the Fields Medal in 2018.
Artur Avila is full professor of mathematics at the University of Zurich. His research focuses on the fields of dynamical systems and spectral theory. For his profound contributions to these research fields he was awarded the Fields Medal – the equivalent of a Nobel Prize in mathematics – at the age of 35.
